To apply for the 2026 Aufguss USA Nationals or Modern Classic Cup, we must receive your completed application and video submission by March 1, 2026.

Eligibility & Professional Information

Applicants must either be U.S. citizens or have worked in the United States as a sauna master for a minimum of one (1) year.

Video Submission

Please provide a link to a short video (maximum 2 minutes) demonstrating your towel-waving skills.

  • The video does not need to be filmed in a sauna.

  • Simple, clear footage is sufficient; production quality is not required.

Aufguss WM Resources

All sauna masters applying to compete in the 2026 Aufguss USA National competition will need to watch these videos from Aufguss WM explaining what the jury is looking for when evaluating your performance.
